This is how I get half of my plate with fruits and vegetables
This video provides some breakfast, lunch and dinner tips for your kids to get their half of their plate fruits and vegetables. Breakfast meal depicts an easy veggie omelet that can be prepared in 5 minutes and can be served with a whole grain toast, fresh orange and a cup of milk to give your child nutrition he/she needs to last through the lunch. Next is junior high school kid packing her lunch which is an easy veggie wrap along with low fat yogurt and a fresh orange. This can be done in 5-10 minutes with fresh veggies of your choice. Last item of the video shows a college age girl preparing pasta using frozen vegetables with prepackaged sauce. She served this on her plate with couple of pieces of cantaloupe. It took her 5-10 minutes to prepare her own healthy dinner plate filled with fruits and vegetables.
